I am a teacher with 11 years of experience, and I am seeking opportunities to carry out academic research in language learning. Creativity, dedication and versatility fuel my professionalism.

I currently teach English for adults at the University of Seville. I successfully prepared students for Cambridge exams in Secondary Education and taught Elementary Mathematics, Science and Biliteracy through active learning,  in addition to leading professional development for faculty members in the integration of biliteracy across content areas. ISTE certified, I've trained teachers in the integration of technology and the use of Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard.

As a researcher, I received the Isaura Santiago Award (Teachers College, Columbia University) for Most Outstanding Integrative Research Project in 2012.

I am skilled in second language acquisition methodologies in Spanish, English and French, as well as in edtech and STEM integration.
